Experience the first Bristol performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s exhilarating choral masterpiece, rediscovered only in 2005. Bursting with vibrant choruses and virtuosic duets for two tenors and two sopranos, this remarkable work showcases Vivaldi at his most dramatic and inventive.
On the eve of Remembrance Sunday, the programme also features two of George Frideric Handel’s most joyful and triumphant works, written to celebrate the end of war and the signing of peace treaties.
