The program opens with the Violin Concerto by Frederick Delius, a lyrical and atmospheric work that unfolds in a single continuous movement evoking a dreamlike soundscape.
In the second half, we turn to Symphony No. 4 by Gustav Mahler. Light in character yet full of subtle depth, the symphony blends playfulness with moments of reflection, culminating in a radiant final movement that offers a serene, childlike vision of heaven.
